Unregistered Does
When we began with dairy goats, we started with unregistered mini-Lamancha and mini-Alpines. After a dog attack killed all but one of our does, we chose to start over with registered Nigerian Dwarf goats, but our survivor Millie (aka General Mills) and her descendants have a special place in our herd.
While they are not registered, they are exceptional milkers. If you're looking for a quality backyard milker, this line might be right for you. While the kids will not be show-worthy, they are bred to quality sires and are more economical than our show-line.
